Celia Oliver presents an intriguing history of quilts in the American home, as well as the fascinating story of the woman behind the Shelburne collection, Electra Havemeyer Webb. The book is filled with full-color photographs and instructions by pattern writer Froncie Quinn for five of the quilts from the collection. It is sure to become a classic!
