Hoopla Patterns: Museum Quilt Reproduction Patterns: An historic collection of authentic reproduction patterns.
19th Century Hoopla: In the Time of Toile
A Shelburne Museum Collection by Red Rooster Fabrics
Designed by Froncie Quinn
|
Imagine rich reds, Prussian blues, gorgeous greens, finely detailed toiles and wood blocked chintzes in their original 19th century vibrancy! In the Time of Toile has been authentically recreated from a specific quilt at the Shelburne Museum. Each design has been reproduced in it's original (documentary) color with the additional colorways taken from the dye colors in the distinctive chintz. Even the authentic background fabric has been faithfully reproduced, since many of the designs are perfect for beautiful " broderie perse" (applique) creations. It would also be a stunning background for the Sarah Johnson Quilt, the Pincushion Quilt or others in the museum series.
Froncies latest fabric "Florrie’s Favorites" has just arrived!
