Dear Quilting Friends,

The lovely book, Enduring Grace Quilts from the Shelburne Museum Collection by Celia Oliver and for which I wrote the patterns, has been reprinted and is now available. Feel free to pass this news along to Guilds, quilting groups, historians or anyone else you think could be interested.

Shelburne Museum, recognized for having one of the largest, broadest, and most diverse quilt collections in the country, celebrates a half-century of collecting with Enduring Grace Quilts from the Shelburne Museum Collection. Celia Oliver presents an intriguing history of quilts in the American home, as well as the fascinating story of the woman behind the Shelburne collection, Electra Havemeyer Webb. The book is filled with full-color photographs and instructions by pattern writer Froncie Quinn for five of the quilts from the collection. It is sure to become a classic!

Very happy quilting to all and I hope I hear back from lots of you!

The book begins with an introduction of the Shelburne Museum and quilting in general and proceeds to enthrall one with photograph after photograph of these glorious quilts. The 100 quilts shown in the book are divided into chapters that categorize the quilt types. It is a visual potpourri of color, texture and craftmanship.
